I have a 2006 Audi A3 Sportback with the factory sun/UV protection windows (can't remember the exact name). Anyway, i'm sure it has some aftermarket tints on, i'm not fussed about the rear but worried about being pulled over fro the front. Do these look legal? Or should I just get the hair dryer out and removing them?

Thought as much, I just wasn't sure how bad it was. Looks worse from the outside as I can see fine from the inside. But the law is the law and looks like i'm scraping tonight. =/

from the inside they seem to let a lot of light through. does look really dark from the outside though :p google places that do tints and see if they have a light sensor. find out for sure then :)

That's why I decided to ask the question, I have no problems seeing at night but don't want to risk getting tugged and fined!
Might just remove them though, just a pain its raining at the moment

I try and keep the right side of the law, specially after driving past a traffic car on the way home from work and crapping my pants.
Anyway, just got home and managed to peel both sides off, just need to get rid of the glue (oh the fun),

Yeah I think your best off not touching the front windows at all.
Any tips for removing the left over glue? Thinking I've buying some Glue Gone or some tar remover and giving that a go
