I've got out of the habit of PARPing recently, so I thought it was about time to do something about it.

So here's a PARP to Babyface UK and Dunc. :D :D

According to the EOC stats I should STOMP you in about 5 days, but I'm expecting over 4000 points of work to be completed today, so you may not have as much time as that.

I'm also expecting some Stomp / Un-Stomp / Re-Stomp activity with Babyface UK, as our output is quite similar, though I've been gradually catching him for months, seeing as we both started FAH in the same week.

After that, Walter Anderson has 7 days and kinnison has 8 days before being STOMPED

With a bit of luck, I should be able to get this all completed before we get walked all over by Growse and his mighty crunching Borg.

Let the PPD roll. :D

I'm afraid I will have to announce a change of plans.

The pleaseant weather we have been having recently appears to have tried removing the roof to my garage overnight. The garage is an extension to the house that I inherited and wasn't very well built. Luckily, the roof is still in place, though most of the roof has move about an inch away from the house.

When the roof moved, it broke in a few places letting the rain in. This has serious repercussions for my crunching farm, as most of my crunchers live in the garage, including Stompy.

The first thing I noticed was that one of my usually more reliable crunchers was completely down which I thought was a bit strange. Before I could investigate this, one of my friends called, as I'd offered to help him build his new computer. Whilst showing him round the house, I went into the garage to find pools of water on the floor and splashes of water in my main computer rack. I immediately switched everything off in the garage (water and electricity doesn't mix very well!!).

As of now, I have managed to patch some of the more serious holes in the roof, but my main rack is still too damp to safely switch on. The downed cruncher is currently drying out (with the help of a hair dryer), here's hoping that it will still work after a drying out period.

This leaves me with only 8 computers (13 clients) crunching, one of which is missing a network connection (routed through the garage ethernet switch). 11 clients are currently in a not-on state (2 of which possibly permanently).

Next step is talking to the insurance company about the garage roof. I'll have to see which if any crunchers have been water damaged once they have had a chance to dry out.

So the overall parps are going to be considerably delayed, and I suspect Babyface will be able to stay ahead for a while. But don't worry [Arnie Mode On] I'll be Back [Arnie Mode Off] :D :D
