[FAH] WOW - Can this user be for real???

Sorry. Did someone say something? I've been deafened by the sound of that going past.

PS - it's a division in Sony. Hardly surprising that they have a bucketload of PS3s to hand.
 
There was some discussion about this on the main boards - none of it makes a lot of sense to me though I totted up the WUs that have been processed along with the points those WUs were worth and it seemed to work out about right.

Interestingly though when I looked earlier it said 8 CPUs and previously someone had said 9 CPUs - this could even be some sort of cluster of Cells (or multiple clusters) only appearing as a few machines from outside.

It's all a bit odd and I was in two minds as whether or not to include them in the news tomorrow :confused:
Maybe I'm just being a sore loser :p
 
Or they just cloned the FAH installs - machine IDs and all. Naughty (because it often causes lots of duplicate WUs) but possible.
 
That sounds most likely. all the corporate type networks i've worked on that use all the same machines usually have just a few common images of software - it's set up on one machine then duplicated across all of them.

Thats exactly why I don't include F@H in my network images.
