FahMon 2.3.0

leave it Uncle - it's like you've stumbled on an easter egg or something - then again you're just be answering the same 'why do it do this' question day after day. Change it - and change it quickly ;)

It's ok I've managed to fix it. I wasn't doing exactly what I thought it was (which helps ;) ). It was just turning visited links red. After I worked that out it all became clear. :)

ETA still seems to be calculated up to frame 99 with Linux version
i.e. frame 99 time to finish 0 minutes but still 1 frame to crunch.

As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with the ETA code, it's working on my clients here.

The only thing I can think of that might cause it is if you haven't got manually set the timezone (since we're in DST).

Hi Uncle Fungus. only just spotted this. Thanks for the response. Don't have the Linux running at the mo. I will set time zone to UTC +1 later & post what's happenning.

Anyway, setting the timezone manually should fix the problem, but just remember to change it back again once we leave British Summer Time.

Yes it has done the trick! I've disabled asynchronous clocks & got green for the first time:D It even seems to countdown the time between frames & I hadn't noticed that before.:)

Thanks a lot UF:cool:

Just a little heads up for you guys.

FahMon 2.3.1 should be out on Tuesday ..ish and includes all the goodies you've already tested, + some others, which you haven't ;)

Also, if you haven't already, remember to update your timezone settings now that we're out of BST. You need to either, 1. Turn the timezone override off, or 2. Set it to UTC+0

When I turned the override off it did nowt. Manually setting it to +0 did the trick. This could just be a Linux-only thing. Or just my computer :p

FahMon on my Windows never needed the UTC override to be switched on.

Interesting, I wonder why some people do have to change it then?

Also of note, FahMon on OSX (not yet available publicly) also doesn't need this setting (it does need a lot of patience at the moment, as it's not the most stable build ever ;) ) keep watching the FahMon news page if you're interested in testing it when it becomes available.
