Can I ask what you guys use in FahMon for the "Calculate PPD based on..."? I'm currently using last 3 frames but the difference is a good 200-300 on some of the settings. I know its only a guide but it would be interesting to see what other people are using :)

Last 3 frames because if I do anything it often slows down for a few frames & that effects the average quite a bit. I'm interested to know when a WU will finish so that I can turn off the VM & have some fun.

I've found that I can only run FahMon as an Administrator on Vista Ultimate 64.

Installer worked perfectly I but get a couple of error messages if I try and run it normally, dunno if anyone else has had this problem :)

Thanks to Vista's locking down of "Program Files", FahMon won't work if you use the default install directory from the installer. I'll try and fix this for future releases by storing the config data etc. in a standard folder, much like the new style FAH clients do now.

I used the default directory of "Program Files (x86)". It works perfectly, I've just had to set fahmon.exe compatibility to "Run this program as an administrator".

Does "Program Files (x86)" differ from native 32bit "Program Files"?

Just shout if you need any more info like the messages it produces if I try and run it without the admin privileges :)

No, it's just that Vista doesn't like programs creating their own files inside of program files. That's the reason the 5.9x SMP client throws fits if you install it to program files, as Vista won't let it save the FahCore.
You can "fix" this by running as administrator, but thats a workaround rather than a solution.

With FahMon, its likely that Vista won't let you create its configuration files if you don't give it admin privileges.
