Started this under a different thread title earlier in the week and despite 47 viewings, no responses came forward. New title is less ambiguous!

As title suggests, the power adapter for my Asus PW201 monitor has packed in and I need a replacement. As Asus don't seem able to help - typical - can anybody offer any other solutions outside of spending north of £200 on a new monitor. Are these parts replicated by other companies and therefore available for more than one type of monitor?

Outside of this, anyone reading these forums have one for sale?

Thanks in advance

What style of plug is it, what voltage is it, and what Amperage is it.

If its a standard round one, then you may be able to use a power brick for a laptop (a multi one) as long as the V and the A is within spec. Post up a pic of the plug, and the V and A ratings.
