Hell!! \m/
ok, recently on my HTC desire my internet has just stopped working. I try and connect to it and I get "failed to connect due to arn settings" - I am with tesco mobile and get free internet on the £10/month deal.

I've looked up on Google, etc and cannot find an answer - please help.

Also another thing - what is the easiest way of getting all my phone numbers 1) stored on the SIM together 2) or backed up on the comp. incase I have it reset or anything as this happened awhile back.

Google "tesco mobile phone setting service" just put your phone number in and they will send a text message that will sort out the settings.

I find it best to sync my contacts with my google account, that way what ever you do as soon as you log back into your google account after a reset etc all your contacts are back.

Check your error message again, you'll probably find it says "...due to APN settings"

The texting thing won't work on Android phones, you'll have to set the APN setting manually.

It goes in
Setting -> wireless & network settings -> Mobile networks -> GSM/umts options ->Access point names

on my San Francisco. it should be somewhere near that on yours.

The APN setting for Tesco are:
Name Tesco
apn: prepay.tesco-mobile.com
Proxy: 193.113.200.195
Port: 8080
username: tescowap
password: password
server :<notset>
mmsc: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
MMS proxy: 193.113.200.195
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 234
MNC: 10
Auth type: PAP or CHAP
APN type: default,supl,mms

Hope these help.
