Failing to boot

aye aye, remove the plug from the back before hand and take out the battery, leave it for a few mins and put it back in.
unless your mobo has a cmos resetting switch on it, in which case just flick that :)

There should be a small metal clip on one edge of the round plastic battery holder - if you push this away from the battery (push it outwards towards the outside of the battery holder with a small screwdriver but dont force it else you may break the plastic battery holder) the battery should just pop out
