Failing to boot

I've moved my PC into a new case and the machine is no longer booting. I tried the usual with using 1 ram stick and trying to boot with out the GPU in and checked all the mobo power connector.

my mobo is a gigabite GA-Z97X-Gaming-7 and the machine gets to the Gigabite splash screen and hangs on the screen with the error Ad code showing on the LCD pannel. The error seems to be Issue Ready To Boot event for OS Boot. Has anyone had this before?

Is it possible my SSD has had the perfect timing to fail?

I have tried different RAM sticks now and completely reinstalled windows via DVD i've cleared the CMOS and default the BIOS, but its still getting stuck on Ad.

Ok it looks like I've got it to boot the SSD was connected to a Marvel Sata port and I switched it to an Intel. I have no idea what the difference is but it seems to be working now.

Did you try pressing TAB when the splash screen shows to reveal the POST screen ? This might have revealed to you the same conclusion by what the POST was saying.

I didn't even notice that option on the splash screen. The options to press F12 and Del would disappear quickly and i was just left the gigabyte logo.

All is looking good now I've got my 1080 back in and all my Hard drives and RAM and it is happily working again.
