Failing to report accident

Was rear ended about 2 weeks ago by a driver in a company car.
I was stationary at the lights and got hit, so there is clear liability here.

I've gotten in contact with his fleet services, who asked me to contact their insurers. This is where I'm stuck.

His insurers cant do anything until he reports the incident, which he hasnt done for 2 weeks. I cant get my car fixed until he does (since i intend to claim off them), unless i report it to my insurance, pay my excess, and wait for them to claim the lot back from him, which in my experience can take ages.

He didnt want to leave his contact at the time, just gave his fleet services number. I took down car reg.

What can I do to get him to report it? Can i do anything? Will walking into a police station and reporting him for failing to report it get anywhere?

Hire-help-rape them.

Get yourself a nice expensive hire car while hire-help sort it out for you, also an incentive for the other insurer to move a little quicker.

Europa Consultants

They'll deliver you a hire car (I think they only supply Porsche or Lotus IIRC) the very next day and take all the work off your hands.

Surely they only give you a class of car that is te same as the insured car that got hit?
