I have a Benq GW2760S and recently I'm noticing some very faint horizontal lines towards the top and left of the screen. They don't move. They're most noticable on bright backgrounds (white in particular). Is there anything I can do about this?

I don't suppose swapping out the DVI-D cable will make any difference? Am worried I'll have to live with this until I next upgrade, which could be years away. Monitor is around one year old, and an RMA (if one is even possible now) would be a huge PITA because this is my only screen.

I have the same thing on my Asus VN279QLB, uses the same panel as the BenQ as far as I know, and I was going to choose the BenQ over the Asus because of the price difference.

Faint horizontal line on the left hand side mainly appearing on grey backgrounds but I don't notice it much for it to bother me, especially when gaming and watching movies.

Using Display Port on mine and I doubt changing the cable will do anything at all with DVI-D being a digital cable, it'll either display or it won't, no middle ground if I remember right.

Did you get any results? I just got an Acer S277HK 4k monitor and have the same issue. On mine though it's all over the screen apart from the left/right/top edges.

No, those YouTube videos didn't help. I am now looking into a warranty swap. The guy at Benq asked me to change the cable but I don't have another DVI cable to hand.
