In the radio shack
I spotted an older version of this posted elsewhere a few days ago and my first thought was "oh, this is rubbish, someone's just made up a few place names" but then I noticed I recognised some names and it quickly became clear that it's not rubbish, it's genius.

It's exactly what it claimed to be - a map of fictional locations, that is any location that's been mentioned or used in books, tv, films, games etc.

Great fun spotting places you know, all the Harry Potter locations are there. Danebury is there, The Castle Aaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh is there, Slade Prison is there, Fitton Airport is there, Borsetshire (and associated towns) is there, you get the idea.

Now I know where Midsomer is, that's somewhere to avoid.

Have a look, this really is fantastic. I make no excuses for the high image :)

With Beanotown and Dandytown so close together, you'd imagine there's been a few rumbles halfway between over the years.

I always imagined Stoneybridge to be somewhere a bit more remote given the inbred nature of the inhabitants. :D
Brought back good memories that though, Absolutely was great.

This map is good.

I've seen a similar one before. But this has far much towns and information on it.

Craiglang, Shieldinch and Burnistoun are in there. It would great to have the inhabitants team up for a commentary at the going ons at Torchwood 2 :D

The only one's I recognised were Craiglang, Dibley and Balamory. Saying that, I only skimmed over a few as there's so many on that map.

Bursley is real, it's the old name for Burslem. My Grandad always used to refer to Burslem as Bursley. I believe there's a take-away up that way called the Bursley Kebab Shop.

The place a grew up in North London is called New Southgate.

Technically doesn't exist on any map or otherwise officially recognised anymore, but anyone from around there will know where you are talking about.

It has a wiki page.

Didn't see Chigley, Camberwick Green or Trumpton.
