Was looking on that rainforest place for a wired replacement for my wireless 360 pad this morning (it got pinched by *someone* over Christmas, I know who but CBA trying to get it back :p) and found one for about £17 all in. Made a mental note to buy it later while at work, quickly logged onto that site and found a listing very similar to the one I'd seen earlier and hit buy... But I noticed this evening when browsing my emails that I'd gone and bought a "replacement" 360 pad that isn't a Microsoft one but "identical" :( It's been dispatched already

If it's fine and 100% the same quality I couldn't care less but the title of the advert has annoyed me somewhat:

Xbox 360 & Windows PC USB Wired Controller Gamepad in BLACK

Product Description
The layout of this replacement XBOX 360 controller is identical to that of the original Microsoft controller, which is good news for most gamers. (NOT MADE BY MICROSOFT)

Any thoughts?

Hi, i bought one off ebay for £13 without realising they weren't microsofts' and after sighing when it arrived and using it for a while i discovered that the buttons are inaccurate, clunky ( especially LB RB and then it broke on me after a few hours use. I then ordered an official one from ocuk during the xmas deals for £18 and the difference is staggering, avoid these at all costs.

Hmm, how are returns handled by that place? Is it through the main company or the trader? I got a DOA Kindle last year and I had a new one about 20 hours later (no mean feat to NI) before even boxing the old one up!

Check under your account settings and see if there is a returns button on the order. I would have thought you go through Amazon, and you are entitled to return it within 7 days of receiving it under the distance selling act.
