If you have the files you can just sub them into a torrent download. Stop the download and hash check the files, bitcomet or similar will then replace the faulty section of the files

You need about 20gb free to install this at least and it'll work on lesser specs afaik

Going to DL this, although I wont be playing it for a little bit...

Only got 18GB free space on my Games drive and atm only on 32bit XP. When I finish Uni at the end of May ill be sticking 64bit something (probubly XP, I still hate Vista) on and give it a whirl.. And will have reorganised my HDDs too.

Hmm, don't think my rig is up to this

a64 2gig, 2 gig pc3200 gf6800 256mb and i get 30 second sound stutters and 4-5 fps.

Manged to alt-tab out of it and found myself with a 2.6gig page file :eek:

And wtf did they do to Alyx? Cracking norks, but who is it? :confused:

Uh, yeah mate you'll be needing 4 gig to run it

And I'd be surprised if anything less than an 8800/3870 ran it without problems.

Not sure about Alyx. in CM6 she was based on Adriana Lima I think, looks a bit like Angelina Jolie now.

Bah, spec sheet says 2gig ram and 256mb of vga would be "ok". Don't think SWMBO will let me justify a complete new pc so i can see hires boobies

Didn't realise it decompressed to 20GB, this thing is huge.

Yes. A four year old game with large textures looks better than the newest graphical benchmark. :rolleyes:

Mine crashed at 'A Red Letter Day' everytime in 32bit. Now I'm in 64, it works a treat. I'm still on 2GB for now however, and no problems.. :cool:

What resolutions are people running it at? I'm running it at 1920 x 1200 and it seems to run as well as the normal version.
