Why hello there fellow chaps and chapesses :)

I just bought a new TV and a new 360 to go with it for my room.

Now I have an xbox and have looked on the sticker and it says it is a :

*175w
*Team FDOU
*Lot #0749

Is this going to be a cooler, quieter falcon 360?

If you could answer quickly guys, that would be awesome - want to open this badboy up. If its not. Ill take it back :)

Yup, 100% a Falcon - the old Xenons and Zephyrs had a 203 watt PSU, only the Falcons have a 175 watt one.

What the heck does the type of DVD drive have to do with anything? Surely someone sane wouldn't bother about taking it back to the shop because it has the wrong type of DVD drive.

By asking this question you need not know the answer.

Wooooooooo - falcon, falcon, falcon, FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALCON!!!!!!!

Is it really that exciting? I know 360 reliability isn't the best but confidence must be really bad if people are actually willing to take them back if they don't have the latest revision. It's the same console at the end of the day.

If you have been through so many 360s. Then yes, it's the most exciting thing ever lol.

 + :p

No it is Not which is Exactly why people are making sure they get the newer edition with revised chips & lower power consumption & quieter drives.
It is named the same thing but component wise it is Not the same thing.
