falcon xbox360

Hi guys iv had my 360 for around 1year 4months and i think its the falcon mobo. I just want to know how safe is it if i moved it around!. For a year and a few months its never moved! but now iv started to take it to the GFs since i get bored when i go to hers i only go hers one or twice a week since she normly stops at mine. Her house is 10-15 mins away in a car is it likey to kill my xbox????

Moving it around shouldn't really make it any more prone to RRODing on you so I wouldn't worry about it. RROD is usually caused by board warp and broken solder joints under the GPU so you moving it around isn't going to make that any worse than it already is

For what it's worth I've taken a 360 in and out of the country a few times (even checked into my hold luggage before now) with no problems.

Get a g/f that isn't so boring or introduce her to your "other" skills to reduce the boredom and need for transporting the xbox

Or get a girlfriend that doesn't bore you on the once or twice a week you visit.

I carried mine in a bag to my friends a few times, had it in a car the odd time and put it in a bigger bag (wrapped in clothing and towels to protect it a bit) and took it to Bradford which was a 10 min walk to station, 1 hour train ride, walk to next train (another 30 mins) go on bus and then take it to my GF's. Ran fine for a week and then the power pack died but that's probably not a likely occurance and I wouldn't think you'd have much risk of that happening. Anyway worked fine and had no RROD for the week long play through then took it back and it was fine still (once I got another power brick from MS).

So no it shouldn't have any problem being moved. I was paranoid about mine because the insides do shake a little and sounded loose but nothing bad ever happened. Launch model too.

Considering the bumps and bangs it took getting from China to the retailer you bought it from (in a box granted), it's perfectly fine to take around with you.

i do but its a shame them skills dont last all day and night
