Fall out 3 - random events

Hey so tell me what random events have you had?

I just had some women run up to me shouting "help me this bomb is going to go off" then she blew up and she had a dessert eagel on her. Then 4 or so raiders poped out with high tier weapons and killed me. They must be part of the random event as they arnt there when I reloaded as i'd saved just before it happened.

Alas I fear I shall never see that desert eagal again :(
 
Do we really need a new thread for every little thing about FO3?

There aren't that many of them, if you want a list just look at the Fallout wiki, not much point listing them.

You should buy it, it's definitely worth £15-20, you'll get a lot of hours of enjoyment out of it and when you're done there's always the expansion packs and the mods to keep you going. :)
 
They are based on location and your LUCK stat, you can very easily trigger them yourself.

Best place for about half the events is an abandoned building near Tenpenny tower, just go to the tower and quick save, then head for the abandoned building and assuming your luck is high enough you will get a random event, some are more common that others like giant ants or wasteland traders, junkies are ghouls or repair guys with Yao Guai pets, a chinese radio signal as well which I never really saw the point of. What I did was

Some less common are the alien Fire Lance event or the Raider Initiation Ceremony.


My personal favourites are the Raider Initiation Ceremony, Uncle Leo and the Firelance event, I've had all three happen randomly.



Also what do you mean by Desert Eagle? There are no Desert Eagles in vanilla FO3, if you mean a Scoped .44 magnum then you'll come across dozens, they aren't that uncommon.

The desert eagle must have come from FWE or MMM then as ive startd a game with them. I had never seen one before, hence why i was so ****ed off about dieing after. I was infact exactly where you stated when it happened. But I'd rather they were random rather then me triggering them. Gives them a suprise factor.
 
It is from FWE and its uncommon but its not exactly hard to buy it from the Traders, but i dunno how it compares with the .44 Magnum for stats. Its a shame the damn FWE site doesn't have a list of stats for the new items or the new stats for old items.
