Fallen Earth - Trial Keys?

Evening all,

Just got a trial key from here.

Have they started giving out invites/buddy keys to existing subscribers? AS I bet there's a lot of people on here who would like try the game but didn't want to shell out £35 for a fairly unknown game.

I'm a big fan of Fallen Earth, I'd highly recommend giving it a go. Yes its a little rough around the edges but patches are coming thick and fast and its a real breath of fresh air in a rather stagnant genre. I'm really enjoying it.

Took a while, didn't max my connection

In-game name is Ragu - Started in the first crafter town.

Pretty good so far - shame they kind of spoil you in the tutorial with level 40 accuracy & a rocket launcher - it's quite depressing being level 1 now

Was really laggy & couldn't hit anything so logged off for today.

After the tutorial you get the choice of about 9 different towns to start in, which differ in terms of faction (not important at all until about lvl 20) and combination of mission types/rewards (crafting, melee, pistols, rifles). It should take you to about lvl 5 to complete all the quests in a starter city but in my experience it's definitely worth visiting a couple to get a good idea of what to expect in the game (as well as some decent lewt!)

Also as you are able to gain points to skill up between levels from certain missions, it can be a good idea to try and do as many different missions as possible.

Been trying to get this to work on and off for a long time today. Its a crying shame - the game has loads of promise and charm but its bugged to hell and back. I can spend ages looking for a quest item only to discover i have to re-log for the item to spawn. Relogging is dangerous in itself as i sometimes seem to spawn inside a crate / room with no doors.

Heres hoping for Global Agenda......
