Hey I played fallen earth up to lvl 20 a year or so ago and ive seen that its changed quite a lot and would like to give it another try. Does anybosy want to get the 10 free trail with me and play along?

Well I'm just downloading the trial as I type, I've never played it before though.

Ok give me a shout when its finished downloading and I will show you some of the basics after you complete the tutorial :D I've just finised ust doing some quests at the moment.

My in game name is: The onee

EDIT: make sure you pick midway as your starter town.

I tried it a while ago, while it was fun, it lacked something that would keep me interested, be interesting to hear your thoughts on whats changed and so on.

Played a good hour and the tutorial has completly compleatly changed its a lot better than before, graphics are good plus the gamplay feels much better and easyer to interact with. Could see myself getting right into this game.

Might give it another bash tomorrow or later tonight in that case, still busy with people all over?

Damn, just remembered you need to sub to play lol, im not starting a new char either, i had a fair few cars/atv's from special offers back then, dont really want to lose them - If you can let me know how easy it is to gain items in the game now compared to before that would appreciated and combat in general.

I have started a new char, crafting times are the same as before just more things to choose from. I will be playing tomorrow if you want to play another character along with me. =D

I subbed to this for 3 or so months about a year ago. I thought it was just ok, the animations were poor at best and melee characters were a joke so everyone was a ranged character with a combat rifle, you could walk backwards and shoot the mob without taking a hit. I liked the crafting part of the game simply because 99% of what you see in game is crafted.

AI was ... well, it was non existent. You could be shooting a mob standing right next to another and only the targeted mob would move. Mobs wouldn't move very much either, only taking a few paces when not engaged in combat, some wouldn't move around at all, just stare blankly at the ground.

After a few weeks of doing odd quests here and there I found out that you didn't need to do all the quests in one area, you could just do the AP quests and move on, this totally ruined the game for me as I was just farming AP and not even bothering to read quest lines or get into the background of each area. If anyone is planning to play this game my biggest tip would be to try and not to farm AP and just quest normally and get a feel for each city you travel to. And get a good efficient horse ASAP! unless you want to lose your mind walking everywhere.

The graphics were also poor at best but it is an mmo so that can kinda be forgiven.

There were some really great systems in this game, but it was the game world itself that put me off in the end. A lot of it was just too flat and featureless, and just not quite interesting enough to keep you exploring.

It was when I hit sector two and discovered that I'd need to completely re-do my character to get the kind of skills / faction I wanted that I stopped playing though. Hopefully they do a better job of explaining factions and the like early on now.

Ok mate, to add me type: /friend add The onee Into chat to add me and then I should come up in the social (press o )
