Im having some trouble getting into this game, it feels very slow and kinda duno what im doing etc. Any tips to get me started and to get me interested in this.

I am using the Restoration Project 1.2 mod as it i think adds content the devs didnt have time to finish or make.

So far ive done the temple thing, bit boring i thought but did it. Got out of kicking the guys ass by lyin to him about somit i cant remember. I walked about and talked to a few ppl in the village and then told to get the geco thing and went off to the near by town to the right which is called K........... somit or other. Im supose to find vic i think but duno where he is. Looked at his place but no one there, talked to the greeter thats a bit of wasted time and then went in the nearby place and bought a round of drinks for everyone and introduced myself for all the good that did.

I nicked a few things off a kid and some women. I'm not sure what weapon i should aim to be getting as all i have is 2 spears for now. I want to get my hitpoints up some more cos its pretty easy to die right now. And i need some armor.

About skills, i have no idea what to spend the 19 points i have on. Any ideas to help me decide what is best to spend them on?

Skills depends on what sort of character you want to play, but in general I go for a mix of speech, lockpicking and small guns. At the start you will want to level up melee weapons as you wont be finding anything dangerous soon, well a few pistols and a single shot rifle if you look.

Armour just buy it unless you plan on killing someone for it, which is just plain silly at the start, you can get plenty of money by rummaging through peoples stuff and selling it off. Remember people dont generally care about you rampaging through their private stores, some people do but its usually made obvious by them telling you to naff off

Use lockpicking to get past lock doors, save beforehand as your low skill will probably jam a lot of doors before you get them open.

To find Vic simply ask the named NPC's you will be pointed in the right direction eventually.

if u pay off his debt u can ask him to join u, hes pretty good with melee weapons, in Vics hut u can get a single shot rifle (as mentioned) nothing special but u can get shot and 2 punches in one turn with right perks/ stats. Read the books that u find/buy to increase ** stats.
Im sure u'll find plenty of hints if u google.

Makes me wanna play it again. :)

Any tips for healing cos it takes ages and most of the time it wont work and buying things to heal with is expensive. Thought id try get that trapper person whos missing but i keep dying in them gecko caves.

Here is my stats btw and im stuck with the default spear as a weapon.

go search VIc's little hut in klameth (where you are) you should get a rifle a radio (keep that) and a bunch of crap you can sell, wonder round talk to people to learn where other towns are, do some little quests for extra money etc. try and pay of sulik ( the tribal) debt then you can take his leather amour. and he's very good with a sledge hammer.

to heal use first aid skill on yourself.

Oh and explore trapper town part of klameth to find some rubber boots so the slime doesn't burn you.

ol although with those stats you could finish the game in about 10-20 mins. (if you save regularly)

Your character in particular isnt going to be winning any melee fights without help, so get sulik on board with you as soon as you can, pay off his debt is the easiest way really.

Healing will take a long time, you will find yourself waiting to heal a lot for a while, just rest when your getting dead, stimpacks / healing powder are only for use in combat really, always rest to heal if you can, stimpacks are expensive for that very reason to stop you using them like candy, I think you can become addicted to them as well.

Save the gecko caves for a bit and go to the west side of town, to the trappers, you will find a more low level quest there (with a harder fight at the end), also you will need some wellies to keep you from getting hurt by the radioactive goo.
