firstly I have searched and searched about this problem I havnt found any solution to it yet.

Since patching to 1.7 there is a 3 second delay between zooming in and being able to make a selection when using vats, has anyone found a solution to this at all?

Are all your drivers up to date? be mainly concerned with graphics drivers as ive had the same problem in the past with this game.its more than likely that there wont be any way of fixing this unless they make a new patch to resolve it.

it never happend with the unpatched version of the game though which is very odd, it doesnt exist in the 360 version of the game even though that is running a patched version also which makes me think it is something else, if anyone comes up with any idea be sure to let me know, I could probably deal with it but I played the game a lot on 360 and really cant get used to this

This has happened to me ever since i put the first patch on and GFWL, I didn't have any problems at all with the original version, I only patched to get the DLC.

Always had this problem from time to time but then I started at v1.6. Doesn't really bother me greatly as the game is paused in VATS mode anyway.

The crashing is what's annoying me in v1.7, it's gone from maybe once every couple of hours to several times an hour.

well im yet to play this long enough to encounter a crash, thats sure to be a bigger problem, either way im going to do some tests starting with a fresh install of vista, you guys think this has anything to do with 64 bit OS? and or drivers? Ive been looking all over but much of the feedback im getting is standard fare (that wouldnt apply to computer ethusiasts)

To be honest it seems to be such a widespread problem that I wouldn't hold much hope of fixing it at your end.

The crashing annoys me too, because I seem to get stuck in a sound loop through my speakers, so I have to restart my pc to get rid of it

This may jinxing it but I have stopped getting crashes now, I updated and reinstalled my gfx and sound drivers, not sure if that was what did it though

i advise all of you if you are using an nvidia card to roll back your drivers to the 183 set, after doing this i dont have a single problem other than the delay
