Fallout 3 and oblivion

Hi all
I used to play oblivion and fallout 3 but lost interest as other games came along so i never finished either. I have been thinking about reinstalling both games again to play and i know there are lots of mods about especially for oblivion and i am wondering if someone can point me to the best mods for both games.

I am only looking for graphical overhaul mods to make both games look better(if any such mods exsist)

have a look on rag3d .com iirc for a guy called panchard (sp?)


he made an epic compilation mod for oblivion, best i've played.


But you have to ask him for the pw (he had some threats etc from mod makers who didn't want their mods included in a compilation)

for oblivion check on Tesnexus for the rems beauty pack mods, makes the character and npc faces and bodies look more realistic

For Oblivion Google: "Qarl's texture pack 1.3", gives a good graphical improvement. Add OMOD onto that if you want an easy installation, but you will need OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager).

If you can get it working... mine still won't and i've tried the old way and the OMOD way.

Got tired of the stuttering on both. Games engine is awfull for how it loads textures on the fly. You need some solid state drives to more or less get rid of it.
