Fallout 3 broken steel broken

Hi i have just got the broken steel add on for fallout but i am having prblems with it.
Every time i exit the game it freezes and i do not get the achievement points.
I have fount out that i am not the only one to be having problems, I just want to know if anyone knows if there is going to be a fix for this and when.

They fixed the achievement issues, but you need to do the quests again to get them. Have you got a save just before you start any of them ?

I use ALt F4 to quit but I am not using achivments so can be no help there.
