Fallout 3 GOTY edition installation post Steam install.

Stupid is as stupid does as they say.

Basically, I have allout 3, bought and installed through steam.
Recently I have seen a local supermarket selling the GOTY ediytion, which includes all 5 DLCs for under £20. I bought it as each DLC works out around £8 through GFWL.

Now I have an issue, should i uninstall my steam version of the game then reinstall the FO3 GOTY and then install the DLCs, or can I somehow add the DLCs to the Steam edition i have already installed.

I've been unable to find an answer on the steam forums, nor on the FO3 forums when i eventually found them.

Both versions are current 1.7 from what I can tell, but I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has doen this yet, or is ina similar situation to me.

All the dlc comes on the 2nd disc you could try just installing that 1st to see if it works

I'll give that a try, I've read that disk 2 udner certain situations takes alots of time to be read by the system, something to do with UAC, but eventually it'll get there. i just don't want to install DLC into the wrong palce and mess up codes at the same time.
