Fallout 3 menu, but not loading game

Anyone here recently bought Fallout 3 GOTY from steam? It loads the menu and I click play..and doesnt load up the game at all. Apparently it has something to do with it being implemented before win7/8..or some errors idk..i cant get it work

Limit the amount of CPU cores to 1 or 2. Doesn't hurt to disable GFWL either.

My game was also more stable when I installed the unofficial patch.

Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3
Find the line:
bUseThreadedAI=0
change it to:
bUseThreadedAI=1
Add another line after it and insert:
iNumHWThreads=2
