Hello all,

I am just installing Fallout 3 GOTY to have another go at it, any good mods I should use?

Graphical mods would be best, but I am open to all suggestions :)

Thanks

Look at top 100

Ones to look out for:

NMCs Texture Pack
Fallout Wanderers Edition
EVE Energy Visuals Enhanced
Fellout
DC Interiors Project
Enhanced Weather

I also suggest DarnUI for F3 though I can't remember where that is hosted.

As i recently clean installed and modded it...

Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) - The name says it all...
Darnified UI - There is no reason to not get this, vastly improves the UI.
Cipscis' Automatic Save Manager - The save system in the game is crap. This gives more slots (upto 50) and also improves stability of the game in general.
Fallout 3 Wanderers Edition (FWE) - The best overhaul mod. Should ideally be used along side all the mods it mentions. Everything is customisable back to vanilla or even harder/easier and it adds lots of stuff.
Marts Mutant Mod (MMM) - Adds a few new monsters and more variety to existing ones. Can also increase the number of spawns and give yourself armies of Ghouls to kill. No reason to not get it.
Colour Hi-Res Map - Replaces the crappy pipboy map with a far, far superior one. Needs the colour set to white or its difficult to read.
Energy Visuals Enhanced (EVE) - Make energy weapons less repetitive. Makes them look better. Makes the crit kills awesome. Adds a few guns.
Weapon Mod Kits (WMK) - Mod weapons, nothing else to say.
Project Beauty HD - Makes the NPCs look better.
DC Interiors - The wasteland buildings are mostly boring boarded up heaps of rubble. This opens up a lot of them.
Impervious Power Armour - Power Armour is weak, for all the DR it provides. This gives a resistance which can make you invunerable to weaker weapons.
Fallout3Edit - Creates a merged patch to sort out any conflicts.
Xepha's Dynamic Weather Mod - Gives awesome weather to the wasteland. Also need to dl Enhanced Weather as detailed in the readme.
Fallout 3 Interoperability Patch (FOIP) - Required to make some of the above mods work together with FWE.
Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - As the title says...
Fallout Script Extender (FOSE) - Required if you use mods really.

^Nice list.

Having just completed the main storyline I'm in the market for some mods. I'm really not a modder and although I like the idea of a lot of them I can't be bothered doing all the 'admin' of reading through the notes, downloading, figuring where to put them, sorting out conflicts and so on.

Why can't it all be simple?!
