hi,

i seem to have got to the end of the game (last main quest)

am only lvl 14... how do i go about finding all the side quests? i have the GOTY edition but i want to finish the first game before i go onto expansions...

am currently doing the android quest...

thx

Explore. Your compass will have hollow triangles which show nearby locations which you have yet to discover. This is the way I would recommend you play the game, you discover locations and characters yourself, which is much more rewarding than following a guide in my opinion. :)

Alternatively do what fieldy says and check out the Fallout Wiki: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3_quests

yeah, i agree. i really like the game, was just v surprised when i suddenly got the end game cut scene.

gone back a few saves to do more stuff!

:)

WOW. I think I'm on something like level 23 and I've only just got past the mission where you find your father. I like to explore though and kill mutants even though I shouldn't be anywhere near them. Wish I had time to play!

Get the explorer perk and go explore!

Or do the quest related achievements/trophies which will make you find most of them at some point. Both main and side quests.

As you have the GOTY edition, you'll have all of the DLC. I'm assuming you've completed the main game story (related to the water purification). The Broken Steel DLC allows you to carry on after completing the main quest, so go exploring. All of the DLC (apart from the Broken DLC) is tied to a radio signal that you need to head to the source to get the quests. Operation Anchorage is a bit lame, The Pitt isn't too bad, Mothership Zeta is a bit odd, but Point Lookout was excellent.

Once you get to Level 20, you can get the 'explorer' perk that gives you all of the locations on the map and it will show you where you have not visited before. Broken Steel also allowed the game to go to level 30, so you'll have plenty of good perks to get up to there.

Also consider putting the difficulty up a little, that will give you more XP for kills!

I found creating a hardcore melée based character meant I went exploring a lot more.

Don't forget Fallout : New Vegas

You can get it cheaper then buying all the Fallout expansions.

I've currently clocked up around 80hrs on Vegas and have only visited about 50% of the places, so easy to enjoy creating weapons, ammo and grub and wonder around aimlessly.

Better (and seems much bigger) game then Fallout 3 imo.

EDIT: Just realized you have the GOTY version. It's worth moving onto them now as you'd get xp quicker.

hmmm I beg to differ. But it might be because I find the open world of Vegas more interesting and thus have already spent more than 20hrs on it compared to Fallot 3 GOTY.

I spent more than 80 hours on Fallout 3 without touching the expansions. I think you're letting the amount of factions fool you. Even though there are multiple endings in New Vegas there are very little side missions for anyone other than NCR.
