Fallout 3 multiformat face off

Look very similar to me, 360 seemed to have the edge over the PS3 in outdoor scenes and the PC looked a little smoother in outdoor scenes but I would have expected a greater difference tbh.

The PC version is set to High only, instead of Ultra High. My F3 stomps all over the graphics shown in the article.

i deffo prefer this on the pc over the 360.....it looks and plays pretty good on the 360 and big screen gaming makes up for the better image quality of the pc.
problem for me is i struggled to play the game on the 360 pad......keyboard and mouse is just so much easier and natural for me.

Jesus christ, did they just forget about AA on the PS3?

I guess they really meant lead platform this time =/

Ah well, great game non the less. Everyone can enjoy it.

Edit, Just watched last half...where's the AF!!?

With the advent of HDMI cables and output/input I'm surprised PC users don't hook up to their HDTVs more often. 1280x720 to 1920x1080 on a big screen? Yes please!

I've yet to play Fallout 3 properly with a mouse and keyboard and I probably never will, no thanks to the mouse lag. The 360 pad is great, and places more emphasis on VATS funnily enough.

This game just looks and plays better on the PC, it’s the 1st multi platform game in some time that just fells like it was built for the pc rather than just ported over to it.

Also IGN have a video comparison and in it you can see what PC looks like in ultra high compared to the consoles.

Pointless they should try comparing them with PC hardware that is 3 years old, at least make it fair.

Not really, that is just one of the reasons PC's are better, you can upgrade them.

Been gaming like this for almost 2 years. Once you go to a 40" HDTV no turning back. And the 360 wireless gamepad is perfect for everything except RTS games. Every PC gamer should use their HDTV for gaming as the difference is huge:D

PC version @ Ultra High with AA looks amazing. Both console versions look a little cutdown and suffer from FPS & loading issues as well. PC is at least a generation ahead of the consoles now!

You say that. but if a new upgraded xbox came out for better graphics they would sell lots.

No upgradability is a negative aspect of consoles.
