Fallout 3 on steam + DLC. help?

Just got a broken steel for fallout 3.
When i goto "Downloads" i see the broken steel. But when i click it nothing happens?

does this continue of my last save? or do i need to do something to get this loaded.

Broken steal takes place after the main story finishes, i.e you have to complete the main story and then you will be able to continue playing and also complete Broken Steal.

The DLC's are part of the main game.
