OK, so my housemate has been playing this recently and after watching him I have a few questions...

Firstly, where are all the plants? Surely mother nature would have taken over the landscape in the 200 years since the war? There's barely a tree or shrub around. And if there is such a lack of plants what on earth is at the bottom of this food chain? If the ground is so toxic that plants can't survive then how are humans still alive?

Secondly I see there are a lot of buildings full of mindless mutants who have the luxury of power and lights, where is this power coming from and where is the fuel to power the source coming from? Also where are they getting all their bulbs? Surely after 200 years the bulbs would have run out and supply would be severely limited. Also seems strange to me that mutants just kill anything that moves but have the presence of mind to change light bulbs?

Finally there seem to be a lot of bullets and energy packs around, I gather there is some factory somewhere that is churning out and distributing these or are they supposed to be left over from 200 years ago? Bullets don't have an unlimited shelf life and surely they would be pretty much spent after 200 years of struggle.

:)

"I have heard there's a goat that lives in Ten Penny Towers that craps lightbulbs and the kidney stones of mutants are fully functioning bullets."

Lol, that would have been ace!

I hear what people are saying about it just being a game, but this isn't some far out technology or something that hasn't been invented yet, its basics of life and common sense. Mutants and time freezing add to the game, but I just find it difficult to get into the spirit of what is supposed to be a role playing game when the actual word doesn't make sense.
