Fallout 3 saves.

Hey guys,

How do I backup everything for fallout 3; all my saves/achievements etc? I need to uninstall from one machine and reinstall my other machine later in the month when the goty edition arrives

What exactly will I need to backup and where is it? I'm on vista btw.

As far as i believe, your achievements are tied to your Xbox/GFW LIVE! account, so no need to worry about them.

Your saves are in your My Documents/My Games/Fallout3, i recently reformatted and copied that folder along with any mods i was using from the game install folder, worked a treat

Can I just copy and then paste the entire the folder at a later date, or do I only need 'saves.' There are a couple of other files in there too...

I think you need all the files IIRC, the other ones are something to do with GFWL and it won't work properly without them.
