I used the search button but nothing came up.

Here goes.....

Bethesda have at last given us some sort of indication that Fallout 3 is currently in production. I came across this link in the Bethesda news letter and might I add was smiling from ear to ear. :D

Lets just hope they do the orginal 2 games justice because Fallout 1/2 are my favourite games of all time.

Fallout 1 and 2 are pure brilliance :) You can forget the others... I noticed today HMV are selling Fallout Collection (1, 2 & Tactics) for £5.

So what are you waiting for? :D
 
Fallout 1 and 2 were excellent - the precursor to Baldurs Gate! (Interplay had the motto 'By Games, for Gamers')
Battle Tactics didn't excite me so much, although my cousin worked on it and her face is at least two of the female characters.

The turn based combat could drag on a bit, but it did give you a heap of control in those tight situations.
I also liked that it would show you the AD&D rules it was using down to the dice roll for your move.

I think it's time for a re-install... the vault dweller re-awakes!

Also anything interplay did was gold dust. They were a great dev studio. Tho i never did get into fallout 2 game when i had it after 20 mins i was bored with all the text with no speech so traded it for somit else.

Both fantastic, original, open-ended RPGs with a lot of character development and, something which is lacking a lot in RPGs, humour!

Looking forward to hearing more about this one, if it is anything like as good as the first two then we're in for a treat.

Yes, my splelling is not always so good.

I always remember it being rock-steady, and the graphics being awesome.... it's not living up to my memory at the moment (mainly because of the crashing, I can cope with the 640*480 resolution - it just looks huge and blocky on a 19" monitor).

It's still the seminal RPG in a non-fantasy environment (i.e. science-fiction, so no magic).
 
Fallout 3! Awesome news.

The first two were absolutely fantastic games, I hope the third is at least as good as either of the first two.

Teaser Trailer is due out today w00t! :p

Anyone else at all excited as I am about this, just played Fallout 2 again, it rocks your face off man. :)

I too am really looking forward to F3 but erm ... was that a trailer for the game or just one of the Bethsada team's afternoon 3D project ? ... :confused:
