Fallout 4 to feature Nvidia Gameworks

Caught this over at Linustechtips. Damn shame imo, I think a game of this calibre should remain vendor neutral (but I guess money talks...)

I'm hoping this will be more like Dying Light, really like the GW effects in that (although I admit I only jumped in after a few patches)

Is it me or is it a bit strange that this info has only just been revealed, and so close to launch? Last minute addition/offer maybe?

But it's halved the FPS right? So its gotta be doing something graphically? Surely?

I'll take what ever graphical niceties I can get on this one.

I don't think any of them have looked great (for the time) tbh, think the emphasis is more on gameplay? If that's spot on then I won't complain

Expect Gameworks to halve fps and add virtually nothing

That's my attitude atm, and if it's a little better then I'd pleasantly surprised

Does make you wonder if all they did was to tweak the existing FO3 engine and add a few nVidia effects...

Doesn't matter to me tbh, I'm just hoping the gameplay is spot on

Absolutely! without the tessellated Godrays there is no way i'd have put so much time into it ...

Lol, don't get me wrong, some of them i can understand, Hairworks was ok in Witcher 3, but tessellated Godrays?? i mean come on! bloody stupid.
