Fallout 4 to feature Nvidia Gameworks

Loads sponsored Nvidia titles works great for AMD has do AMD title work great for Nvidia... Its when Junk is added things happen for both sides. We don't want another Batman do we please no..

I did play the Beta as well and nothing made me think that that was a GameWorks library lol. Glad it ran well for you though and great stuff.

Mr LBC you do know GW has performance issues even for Nvidia users? how could you not want the end user to have a great experience just if he could switch of that one stupid setting?

AC:U ran really well for me and was close to being my top game of last year but seeing the list of bugs/glitches/faults, I can see why people were fed up.

There was an Nvidia promo video for GameWorks a while ago that showcased TC Rainbow 6 Seige as a Gameworks title.

Why would you want a game to be unplayable for everyone? That makes no sense, unless you hate Fallout and want it to fail or something :S

The problem is that hardware enthusiasts don't equal gamers,so a number are more worried about the hardware than the game. They want games to run crap,since it means they can justify their hobby more.

Fallout is one of my favourite series too,and what he does not get into his head,is if runs crap on PC,it makes the console version look better,and you can see even on this forum there are many who own PCs and consoles, especially since now the console versions can have VETTED MODs too. I rather not have another game derive more and more revenue from consoles,as we will get more budget hatchet jobs like the last Batman one or any other of the lame ports we get nowadays.

If console versions get more sales,it means the PC versions become less and less of a priority.

I suppose at least I have a recent Nvidia card currently,but hopefully due to the modding support if there is crap which tanks performance for no reason,they can remedy it - just like the X87 fix for Skyrim.

Waveworks is vendor neutral as the calculations are done on the CPU. Ofc there will be some extra GPU load but due extra effects/tessellation.

Shame waveworks kills game performance on FX-series CPU because of poor IPC =(

Who said anything about wanting a game unplayable for everyone I said its a GW game, nothing should be turned off. You are the one thats said its going to be unplayable for everyone and the game is not even out yet. Have a look at what you have said rather than imaging what I was supposed to have said.

It's a GW title now. Your card either runs it or it doesnt.

To add, it doesnt matter a jot if there is an on/off switch for GW titles. Even if there is an off switch, if this game is not a bajillion % smooth and ****ing jaw dropping awesome GW will still get the blame from the AMD trolls. So my point stands. No switches, you can eother run it or you cant, dont like it dont buy the game. I highly doubt Bethesda will care about a tiny % of the market.
