fallout New vegas fps feature

Is it true, the new 'Fallout New Vegas' has a new feature that allows the player to play the game as a tradistional first person shooter? The 3rd one made it very hard for the player to play the game without using VATS in combat. Any ideas?

Do you mean by aiming down the sights?

If so, then yes in New Vegas you can aim down the sights of all the guns.

Yep the dev's have tweaked the system a little so on console atleast you shouldn't have to use VATS all the time like FO3.

great! I really thought they missed a trick with fallout 3. They could have added another type of class "Non teck" where u dont use the vats -_-

Is also the weapon degrading changed?
In FO3 the weapons degrade much faster when not using VATS, I hope this is changed with Vegas

Must admit, I can't wait for this. I loved Fallout 3. Might even play through it again as a bad character before New Vegas comes out.

At first I really liked VATS, but after playing through the Operation Anchorage DLC I got more used to fighting without VATS.

thats not fun!...

i only got FO3 for the cheats/mods. couldnt be asked to do it properly, after spending half my life on oblivion
