Fallout: Tactics

Is this game any good? I'm not familiar with the Fallout story line, and I'm not sure I fancy getting into them, however this particular game interests me as it's turn-based squad combat from what I can see. Similar to X-COM / Jagged Alliance series?

Plus it's in a budget pack for £8 now, thought it might be worth trying out.

Fallout 1 and 2 were great RPGs Fallout Tactics in a nice stratagy game in *** same engine.

£8 you cant go wrong imo.

Do you think Fallout: Tactics is playable without knowing anything about Fallout 1 and 2?

AMAZING game. One of my favourites!!

You can play it without having any knowledge of 1 or 2. Completly different really apart from set in the same world.

I seriously recomend this game. Wish i could forget all about the story of it and play it like it was new again!

Another recommendation here, top game and I loved every minute of it. As mentioned above you don't need any prior knowledge of the fallout world to enjoy tactics but I'd recommend getting the first two anyway as if you can forgive the now dated graphics they're both amazing games.
