I've just re-installed Fallout3, but I see there are 5 Downloadable content packages that come in the game of the year edition.

Where can i get these packs with out buying the game again ? and are they free ?:D

They're only "free" via the GOTY edition and Steam, AFAIK. You can download them individually as you please. I'm pretty sure you'll have to pay for them if you only have the original version.

I think you mean they're only 'free' via... the obvious. Some are better than others, the only really substantial 1 is Point Lookout and Broken Steel is mostly useful for the new enemies and increase level cap. Only PL is actually worth its price imo, the rest are mostly just an excuse to put in overpowering/special gear to make you want it (like the Winterized T-51b Power Armour that happens to be glitched to infinite condition and Gauss Rifle).

Just keep in mind that if you do choose to get them, Broken Steel WILL break any character that is level 20.

You can buy them using Games For Windows Live, when you load up the game you should see a menu option for Downloadable content (I think, maybe it's called something else) which you can follow to the GFWL client where you can buy the DLC.

Make sure your game is fully patched up though and the same for GFWL.

Also, I agree with Evil that the only one worth buying is Point Lookout and maybe Broken Steel. Price the whole lot of them together though, may be cheaper to pick up a Game of the Year edition instead.

Just buy the GOTY version online cheap it was around the £15 mark as that's cheaper than buying the 4000 MSP otherwise.

The only DLC I actually enjoyed was Point Lookout and to some extent Broken Steel for the level 20+ uncapping.

I really wish I hadn't bothered with the others, though I did use the stealth suit from Anchorage for a lot of the game.

EDIT: Seems it's fairly common opinion, then.

The chinese suit from Anchorage is really "good" if you play a ninja type character, thought it makes the already overall easiness of the game even more so, and it's definitely the worst of the DLC. I can't remember which DLC brought the new "rank" of ghoul and super mutant, but they were actually pretty tough.
