The Falls of Falloch can be found about half way between the north end of Loch Lomond and Crianlarich. The river drops over several falls in a few hundred yards down to the level of the loch, the largest of these at over 30 feet is thankfully the most accessible.

Quite a nice little set, although all very similar?
3 is the one I like the best, can't decide if I like the sky or not though.
The sky seems a bit blown out in a few as well, perhaps combine exposures?

Really nice shots, number 4 is my favorite. I actually have some video of mates paddling over those in a kayak it gets down a lot.

Good set of pics. How did you do the B/W conversion on #2?
Nothing fancy, it was all done in RawShooter, tweaked the contrast etc then desaturated it. I may have a go at redoing it properly in CS2 from a colour original to see if I can get a better range of contrasts.

No.3 is my favourite as well, although maybe a little too small? I find myself squinting to see the details. (19inch monitor 1280x1024)
It's quite small but I find 600px high is what folk prefer to see on a forum, it's a good compromise between file size and image size.

nice shots

only thing I woudl say that if that fall is 30ft, it doesent seem it, perhaps another angle or closer zoom, could give the perspective of the size of it.

Unfortunately the range of shots is very limited, as you can see on #4 the pool is surrounded by steep slopes on 3 sides with only the river itself at the level of the pool. Without climbing gear or a set of waders these are the only angles you can get.

maybe get some body to stand on that flatish area to the right of the waterfall, if there is access to it, to give an idea of scale.

Any way they are nice pics as they are, certainly lots better than anything I coudl produce
