My car is on it's last wheels so I've been looking through the adverts for a replacement. I can understand that many motor traders always put disclaimers about the number of miles a car has done to protect themselves.

All the cars I've been looking at are 5 or less years old and have LCD/LED/Fluorescent digital odometers.
Is it really that easy to 'clock' a newish car these days?

it's a piece of pee to re-code mileages, look at the overall state of the car, the history etc.. before paying any attention to the mileage, that's what i do :)

That's what I'm doing. I was just curious as to how easy or hard it was to clock an electronic odometer.
