Hi,

Whilst trying to resolve problems with my own PC, I ended up acquiring the following spares. I've had them since january and they're just gathering dust.

Gigibyte GA-P31-DS3L
Sata HDD
450 watts psu.

I thought I'd build a new family PC, so, basically the system would NOT be overclocked, have reasonable power consumption and be able to play games at medium detail graphics (i.e. Wow, Quake III, BF2142), also, coolish and quiet would be a small bonus.

Second hand market would be considered, but not essential, I'm not on a budget, but spend enough on my own PC, and there is no justification I can find to spend too much on a Web browsing/occasional game/family PC.

Suggestions for best bang for buck:-
cpu
memory (2gb)
Gfx card
cpu cooler
cd/dvd

Thanks in advance :)
