hi guys i have 3 120 case fans in my system, the front fan is bringing air in the side fan is bringing air in and the back fan is dispersing hot air, also my cpu cooler is a cooler master hyper 212 plus and the fan on that is facing the back fan blowing air across the cpu heatsync and out of the back case fan, is this correct set up?

its a bit ott, but for future reference :p

think there was diferent views on positive or negative pressure set ups i reckon as long as you have enough airflow throught the case and not to many restrictions itll be fine only wat to tell is look at your temps and see what works best for you layout

I prefer to have positive pressure. Much easier to keep the pc dust free.
im guessing positive pressure the intake moves more air then exhuaste?

I have a few fans (stock cooler master cm 690 case fan and 2 thermaltake laying around want to put them to good use. Just need to find wht cmf the fans are

if there are gaps in the case and u sprinkle talc near them ( not a lot) and it gets sucked in u have negative pressure if it drops or gets blown out positive pressure

edit i guess i better say i meant that as a demonstration not to throw talc all over the place

If you have control over the fans it doesn't matter. You can have intake higher or lower. Then you can satisfy the real dealbreaker which is how you feel about it at any given moment.

I just changed my pc from negative to positive pressure (changed to a faster fan and flipping another fan from exhaust to intake) and I'm far happier with the temps now.

Good test I now have talc in my psu!, I got negative pressure with 1 intake and 1 exhaust on the radiator. Might have to flip the exhaust to intake and see what happens to the temps.

i prefer johnson and johnsons in my pc tbh gives it that freshness you just dont get with other pc i did say a sprinkle not tip a pot over it lolz

A sprinkle is all I used, prob was a silly idea to drop some near the fan mount on the side panel needs a hover and a cable tidy up anyhow.

At the moment I'm running IBT stress set at max and I'm getting 61.75 degrees c, going to flip the exh fan and see what I get.

yer i meant like a pinch near a case gap to see which way it blew or sucked never mind after i wrote i thought i hope someone dont just pour it just in case
