In my case I have to fans that can be controlled. My top 120 and a front 200. I previously had these plugged into a 4 pin header of which I had a small problem of having to be in the OS and having to start speedfan before thy would get enough power to spin.
One time when starting speedfan I think it tried to control my CPU fan speed and my system didn't like it and shut off. Which to me is quite worrying if it messed up and put my fans to 0 while I was away and blew my computer :O
So my question is should I stick with something like speedfan or would a fan controller really be worth it?, I want something that can at least work out some of the temps it's self and will a fan controller mess with my led fans?
Thanks for any information!
