Fan control on X1950 on x64

have you had it long and what brand ? the ocuk version does have variable speed just runs 100%.

also if you had it a long while its possible the cooler has lots of dust in it soo uts running hotter.

Yeah I have got the ocuk version.

I was reletivly dust free, cleaned up good as new but it's relenless. I swear to god it was never this loud :(

Is there any way to shut it up? :(
 
yeah sorry if i remmeber right the card doesnt come with a temp sensor soo fan is just basically on 100% speed. you could try after market coolers.

or conencting the fan up to some sort of fan control.. if you look in cataylist control center that normaly displays a temperature for the card. soo i assume if no temp displayed then that confirms no temp sensor.

Meh, I'll throw it out of the window and get something with some more beef and quieter soon :)
