I will be getting a fan controler for my system and have seen a couple i like which are the Aerocool EN55352 or EN55345. No doubt how you position the temp sensors will determine how accurate the readings will be.

Where would be the optimum place be to fit the CPU sensor if it has the H50 watercooler fitted???

Thanks.

There is no decent place really where ever you put it the temp shown will be way lower then the temp the actual cpu is, i would say maybe on the back of the motherboard under the cpu socket.

Waste of money imo I'd get one of these instead http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-031-AK&groupid=701&catid=48&subcat=153 fan controllers are a nice toy and look good though but at the end of the day all you need is something to control fan speed and using this with motherboard control will adjust fan speeds according to temps depending on bios of course.

The sensors on fan controllers are a pointless gimmick all you are ever going to get from them are case temps really and certainly not going to get any sort of accurate real temp readings from a cpu or gpu.
