Hi folks,

I currently own a NZXT Sentry LX fan controller, but have 2 issues - firstly, it only handles 6w per channel, so I think few fans are running slower than they are able to. Secondly, it beeps at me every 30mins - 'Fan 1' (placed at the front of my case) obviously isn't liked very much by the controller as as the beeps are sounding, you can see that the fan speed drops and then begins to rise again. A power issue, possibly. Incompatible, no, because i have another of the exact same fan running above it, no issues there.

Anyhoo, currently looking at a replacement, so far it is between

BitFenix Recon 5
and
NZXT Sentry 2

Firstly, I'm not sure if I want to go with another NZXT after my issues with the beeping of the first.
The BitFenix gets mostly positive reviews, but I worry that maybe even 10W per channel isn't enough? I have seen some with 30w.

The fans I'm using are all 120mm, with one 200mm. The majority are coolermaster/antec, but are all LED fans. However even the largest, 200mm MegaFlow, aparrently only requires less than 4w (3.36w I think I read somewhere). The 120mm are SickleFlows.

Anyway, if anyone has experience with either these particular controllers, or can advise on the wattage, I would be extremely grateful!

Many thanks

that's what ive been looking at as the header pins on my motherboard aren't the best for fan control.

seems decent price and looks nice!
