Fan controller for 4-pin fans

I recently sorted out all my cooling issues by purchasing a couple of beastly 120mm system fans. These work great, but make a lot of noise at full power, which isn't a problem when I'm gaming with a headset on, but when watching DVDs or listening to music, the noise is too much.

So the solution is a fan controller right? Thing is, my fans use 4-pin molex connectors, and all the fan controllers I've found on overclockers.co.uk use 3 pin only. There also appears to be a adapter to allow you to connect a 3-pin fan to a 4-pin connector, but not vice-versa. Does anyone know of a fan controller that will solve this for me?

Secondly, generally speaking will a fan controller fit in a 3.5" slot on the front of my case even if a HDD is mounted behind?

Thanks for any help :)

Thanks for the quick responses. I can't believe I found the 3 to 4 pin adapter but not the 4 to 3 pin one. Especially seeing at it was just down the page

Can anyone answer my second question? If a fan controller won't fit with a HDD behind I'm going to need to relocate the HDD somehow...

EDIT: Ah nevermind, found one that fits in a 5 1/2" bay :)

What fans did you buy? Oh by the way get the Sunbeam fan controller... it rocks. :)

I have two of these: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-004-YS

One in the front sucking in, and one in the back pushing out. Had to mutilate my case a little to get them in, but it's worth it in the end. They are just very noisy!

I'll have a look at that controller, thanks for the recommendation.

EDIT: One final question; I remember someone telling me that a fan controller that is capable of reading the fan rpm WON'T be able to read it if the fan is a 4-pin with a 3-pin adapter, as in my case. Can anyone confirm/deny this before I go and buy a controller with an LCD display!
