Anyone reccomend a good fan controller that will be capable of running 7 case fans. I currently have a zalman zm-mfc1-+ but a few channels on it are dead. Need it for case fans only, 4x intake, 3x exhaust. Needs to be a standard single 5.25 bay unit. Cpu cooler fans are ran via a PWM splitter so dont need to be considered. Budget of £40.00 ono.

Have you considered going all PWM fans with PWM splitters powers wiith molex or sata from PSU using mobo controlled PWM signal? I'm running 7 fans off of my X58A-UD3R and it works a treat. Could even split the fans cooling CPU from those for GPU if GPU is PWM controlled. ;)

Id thought about it mate, but id need two PWM splitters, more cable mess tbh. Whereas with a controller id be dealing with less cable bulk due to individual thinner cables per fan. Gpu is a gigabyte windforce 670, incredibly quiet card with it's stock fans, and im a stock cooled gtx 470 sli veteran lol.

PWM converter? Although how well it'd go with 7 fans depends on what fans they are really. Doesn't take up a drive bay but is fully automatic controlled.

My ultimate controller would be A TaCSaC (Tealc all Converter Splitter and Control) system. Copyright the name mate! :D

A system/s that converts and/or controls CPU airflow and GPU airflow independent of each other.

Couldn't use GPU control even if I wanted to.. My GPU is passive. :o

That just needs 2 converters, or 2 converters on one board with two PWM inputs and separate fan outputs as required for GPU, CPU and case fans. Easy pips.

One board to rule them all, One Board to power them, One Board to connect them all and in the darkness control them.

:)
