Fan Controller for 92mm Vantec Tornado?

Any ideas what fan controller i can get to use on a vantec tornado? ive tried and antec one and it sorta started to smoke

Also tried 3 seperate pots and they all went poof as well :S

Any ideas?

I think you might need to get another vantec tornado fan as they shouldnt blow any controllers unless they are overvolting.

:S well i think its due to the ampage they are 12v 1amp draw so ive been told its the 1 amp that kills them

the controllers just go "umm you what to move how much through me??? *deatthhhhh*"

You need a pot rated at around 12watts but if you're going to run the fan at more then 7v a 6watts rated pot should do.

Sunbeam rheobus can take 20w per channel so should handle it with ease
