Fan Controller - How to attach sensors?

Installing a fan controller (Lamptron FC6). My plan is for the controller to display the intake and exhaust temps of the case.

Now my question is, what kinda tape to use when attaching the sensors - the controller didn't come with any.

My fan controller came with little 3M sticky pads but I just shoved the sensors between things and let the rigidity of the wires keep them in the airstream.

Double sided tape would probably be the best option.
