I think, as it is early days in this build (I have just started!) that I am going to have 2 or maybe 3 fans too many for my available fan headers on my mobo. It is an ITX mobo so I don't have that many to start with!
I could use splitter cables but I would like to still be able to control fan speed.
I have never used a fan controller before, could someone recommend me a fan controller that could do 3 fans and is as small as possible preferably.
I understand I would need to use one if I still want to be able to control each fans speed?
This is a worse case scenario as I'm not sure what my temps will be but I'm pretty sure I'm adding an additional 2 fans minimum to this build

Cable splitter only have four pins on one output; this one feeds back and control's the speed.

Splitter sounds easiest, you can check amperage form motherboard manual, it's usually one but sometimes two amps.
